Joshua Noel: Studied religion at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and Christian Leadership at Charleston Southern University. Avid nutrition researcher & enthusiast. Favorite Bible verse: Galatians 5:1. Favorite quote: “Gratitude is in the past, love is in the present; but fear, avarice, lust, and ambition look ahead (C. S. Lewis).”
Zachary Blake: Nursing Student at Charleston Southern University. I am the leader of New Life Alliance, a group that studies God’s word and serves others. Fully believe in Matthew 22:37 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
Jessica Eiler: I love people, particularly children. I teach sometimes in the children’s ministry at my church. Right now I don’t have a special degree or job, I’m home with my 2 small children. When my role at home is done my desire is to return to school to become an elementary school guidance counselor. I want to make a difference and I hope I always follow God’s plan for my life. I strive to live following Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Doctor Showbizhair: I have hair, or maybe I don’t. That’s not good, don’t talk about your name, that is a pointless endeavor. Who names their child Doctor anyways? What about science? I LOVE SCIENCE! Too much? I’ll get back to that. What about Neurochemistry? I need to get a doctorate in that. Ha ha, Dr. Doctor Showbizhair…. Favorite quote, “Is your hair starting its own cult?”
Shama Mrema: was born in Africa, raised in America, then returned to live in Africa with his missionary parents (pastors in Tanzania) before attending and graduating from Holmes Bible College in the states. He is an actor and a writer, but his favorite title is disciple. He is passionate about relationships, evangelism, and discipleship.
The Fanboy Pastor: is the alter ego of JC Prescott. He’s been everything from a senior pastor, youth pastor, college and career minister, janitor, audio visual tech, webmaster, youth home worker, and, one very special time, a worship leader (it did not end well). A professor of church history and apologetics, he spends most of his time reading textbooks and comics. In addition to his projects with New Life Health, he blogs his random thoughts at https://fanboypastor.wordpress.com/.
David Pizarro: I was born at a really young age and grew up around the same time as my teenage years. I like health, love God, aaaaaaand that’s pretty much it. Favorite Bible passage? Psalm 139. “You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it (verses 5&6 ESV).”
